About

Hi, my name is Tina. Initially, I had this dream, but I didn’t think that it could be a career. When I was in high school, I spent hours in the dark room in my IB/AP Art Class. Time would disappear as I created black and white prints. At the time, I did not own a fancy camera, so my school would let me borrow their manual Nikon to shoot. Although I shoot Canon now, that Nikon was like a first love that I will never forget!

In college, at the University of Miami, I bounced around majors and ultimately landed with a degree in Computer Information Systems. I would walk by the art school, but never thought that it would be a career.. that i could have…

In the years to follow, I ended up with a career in real estate. I did love it. I loved learning about it, but it wasn’t enough. And then…one day, I woke up with this idea, that I wanted to be a mother, an entrepreneur, and a photographer.

KSD Weddings officially started with the birth of my daughter, Kareena. Over the last few years, I have had the privilege of meeting and working with the most amazing people. With the support of my husband Sid, family, friends, mentors, and clients, I have been able to turn this dream into a reality. I am forever grateful to those who have shown their support, taken their time to teach, given me the opportunity to shoot, and shared the work.

What has evolved is a style that blends tradition with fashion, natural lighting, modern techniques, and vibrant color to create photojournalistic and documentary wedding photography that reflects the uniqueness of each wedding and couple we shoot. In the end, we put our heart into every wedding… capturing every moment. Photography is about capturing the moments that we live for, running towards what we hope for, and living life. Thank you so much for stopping by! I look forward to hearing from you!
